Materials Associate (Parts Picker)
Work Arrangement: In-Office, Hamel, MN1st Shift: Monday-Friday, 6:30 a.m.-3:00 p.m. or Monday-Thursday, 5:30 a.m.-4:00 p.m.
Role Overview
Key Responsibilities
- Pick parts for assembly cells accurately and efficiently to support production needs.
- Maintain and stock inventory consistent with company policies and procedures.
- Support accurate inventory movement, organization, and replenishment within the manufacturing environment.
- Use basic computer skills to navigate systems and complete required inventory or production-related tasks.
- Follow written and verbal instructions while maintaining accuracy with numbers, quantities, and part information.
- Assist with cycle counting or related inventory activities as needed.
- Operate or train to operate a forklift and overhead crane as needed.
- Communicate effectively with company personnel and others to support production flow and inventory accuracy.
- Maintain a positive attitude and demonstrate a strong desire to learn and grow.
What You Bring
- High school education or equivalent.
- At least six months to one year of related parts picking and/or cycle counting experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Basic to intermediate PC skills, including the ability to navigate from one screen to another.
- Microsoft Office knowledge, including Word and Excel.
- Ability to work accurately with numbers and instructions, including basic math skills.
- Detail-oriented with the ability to problem solve.
- Ability to be trained to operate a forklift and overhead crane as needed.
- Positive attitude with a strong desire to learn and grow.
- Ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing, with company personnel and others.
