Materials Associate (Shipper)
Work Arrangement: In-Office, Hamel, MN1st Shift: Monday-Friday, 9:00 a.m.-5:30 p.m. or Tuesday-Friday, 7:00 a.m.-5:30 p.m.
Role Overview
Key Responsibilities
- Package and ship customer orders in accordance with customer requirements and company policies and procedures.
- Verify order, packaging, labeling, and shipment information for accuracy before release.
- Prepare and review domestic and international shipping documentation, including commercial invoices, certificates of origin, USMCA documents, SLI forms, and applicable free trade agreement documentation.
- Use computer systems and Microsoft Office tools to process and support shipping activities.
- Collaborate with company personnel to resolve shipping questions and support timely order fulfillment.
What You Bring
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Shipping experience in a manufacturing environment.
- International shipping experience.
- Knowledge of international shipping documentation, including commercial invoices, certificates of origin, USMCA documents, SLI forms, and free trade agreements.
- Intermediate computer skills, including the ability to navigate between screens and use Microsoft Word and Excel.
- Ability to work accurately with numbers and instructions, communicate effectively verbally and in writing, work independently and as part of a team, stand for an entire shift, and demonstrate a positive attitude with a desire to learn and grow.
